Lenny Albin Joins Öhlins USA

AMA Superbike paddock regular, Lenny Albin, who owns Superbike Chassis LLC, has joined the team at Öhlins USA as a contracted technician and sales-and-service representative. 

With a long history of working with championship riders, Albin has 30 years of experience in the motorcycle industry and is a highly respected suspension technician. Albin’s experiences also include performance engine building, owning a motorsports shop in the Middle East, preparing and tuning a Land Speed Record setting CBR 600, and as a Chief Instructor at MMI.

Albin is already representing Öhlins at IMS shows around the country, and will be doing so in New York, New York; Cleveland, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; and Charlotte, North Carolina. He has taken part in pre-season testing for AMA Superbike Series racers and will be attending additional tests prior to the Daytona 200 event weekend.

Öhlins USA is expanding its technical personnel at all AMA Superbike Series events in 2012, and Albin will be one of the four official Öhlins technicians at each event. This increase in personnel allows Öhlins USA to better service every racer using Öhlins products, from contracted teams to privateers. To further assist privateers, Albin will also be at WERA Nationals and WERA West events that don’t conflict with AMA nationals. Additional services Albin will be providing for Öhlins USA include dealer training and customer seminars, which begins with his scheduled appearance at Ram Cycles, March 10th, in Rockville, Maryland
